St Joseph's and the Community

In seeking to develop the children’s horizons, many organisations are invited to share experiences with the children, such as theatre companies, charity speakers, musicians, artists, poets, performers and spiritual organisations.

St Joseph's and the Community

Friends of St. Joseph's

The Friends of St Joseph’s is a vibrant and supportive group within the school community.

The association helps organise fund-raising events, social evenings, educational evenings and various “fun nights”. Funds raised are used to purchase additional resources and equipment for St Joseph’s. During 2007 - 2008 a full calendar of events has been organised.

New members are always welcome and you are cordially invited to join by returning a completed nomination form to the school office at the Annual General Meeting held in the Autumn term.

Parents Meetings

Parents are formally invited to the school to meet the class teacher and discuss their child’s progress. This is an important meeting and parents should make every effort to attend.

There will be a curriculum meeting early in the first term. At this meeting your child’s teacher will outline the programme which he / she intends to follow.

Parents of children in yrs 1-3 will have two private interviews with their child’s teacher and parents of children in years 4-7 will have one private interview. This is to share information and discuss your child’s progress.
