We were delighted to attend the Eco-Schools Awards Ceremony today at the Theatre at the Mill, where we proudly received our 8th Green Flag Award – a fantastic achievement for our whole school community. We were also honoured to be recognised as an Eco-Schools Ambassador School, a significant milestone that reflects the depth and consistency of our environmental work.

This recognition reflects the ongoing commitment of our pupils and staff to caring for our environment and taking meaningful action to make a difference. A special highlight of the day was seeing Christopher, one of our dedicated Eco-Council members, being honoured as Eco Pupil of the Year – a wonderful and well-deserved achievement.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mrs. Downey, our Eco-Coordinator, for her passion, dedication and leadership in promoting environmental awareness and action across the school. We also recognise that this success is very much a whole-school effort, and we are incredibly proud of all our staff and pupils who work together to make such a positive difference to our environment.

We are immensely proud of this milestone and look forward to continuing our eco journey together.
