On a beautiful sunny Sunday, a dedicated group of staff from St. Joseph's took part in the 2025 Moy Park Belfast City Marathon to raise funds for our school. The event, co-ordinated by Mrs. Campbell, was a true testament to the spirit and commitment of our staff, who came together to support a cause close to their hearts. With three relay teams and several walkers completing the 8-miles, the day was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a sense of community.

The relay teams showcased incredible teamwork and determination as they navigated the marathon course. Their efforts were complemented by the walkers, who took on the 8-mile challenge with equal vigor. The sun shone brightly throughout the day, adding to the vibrant atmosphere and making the experience even more enjoyable for everyone involved.

As the marathon progressed, the support from our parents, family, friends, and the wider school community was palpable. Cheerful spectators lined the streets, offering words of encouragement and applause to our participants. This support played a crucial role in motivating our staff to push through and complete their respective challenges.  A great day was had by all, filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared sense of achievement.

We are eagerly awaiting the final total raised, but regardless of the amount, we are immensely grateful for the generosity and support shown by everyone.  The money raised from this fundraising event will be put to excellent use.  Indeed every penny will contribute to the betterment of our school.
