Thank you to the NSPCC who delivered an assembly presentation and a number of workshops to the Year 6 and 7 pupils. The focus was ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’.
A sack of worries task was done by the children and how it’s important for them not to have these worries. They were also informed about many forms of abuse.
A very important message for all the children is ‘Abuse is NOT OK’ and it’s is always important to tell an adult over 18 years and who you can trust.
The pupils watched a Childline video and made them aware that help is also available through the Childline Contact Line 0800 1111
Remember the message from Buddy the NSPCC mascot,
‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’.
