  • Children's Christmas Draw

    Congratulations to the winners of our pupils Christmas Draw.  They were:

    Many thanks to Oliver's daddy who baked gingerbread men for the children in his Year 3 class.  What a lovely treat.  Happy Christmas!

  • Friends of St. Joseph's Cheque Presentation

    Jennifer from the Friends of St. Joseph's called into school this morning to present Mr. Traynor with a cheque for £5,500.  This certainly was a lovely surprise and a wonderful Christmas present for the school.  The money presented will be used to support our Christmas activities this year and on the purchase of emergent technologies for our school.  A massive thank you from all here in St. Joseph's!
  • Christmas Panto and Jumper Day

    Pupils were entertained today to a virtual panto 'Beauty and the Beast' streamed live from the South West Regional College.  They all looked so well in their Christmas attire - a great selection of socks, dresses, jumpers and hats to name but a few were on display. 
  • Santa Visits the Nursery

    What a surprise the children in the Nursery Unit had today when Santa came along to visit.  There was so much excitement and lots of fun to be had by all! 
  • Christmas Dinner

    Today our pupils had their Christmas Dinner in school.  Pupils enjoyed their meal in the school canteen in their class bubbles.  Many thanks to Mrs Weldon and all the canteen staff on catering for such a large number of pupils and serving up a great Christmas treat.
  • Christmas Colouring Books & Pencils from Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council

    Mrs Lawlor's and Mrs Sheppards's Year 3 classes were delighted to receive Christmas Colouring Books and pencils for Year 3 form Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.  Cheers!
  • Certificate of Commendation in Texaco Children's Art Competition

    Congratulations to Matthew O'Brien who was highly commended in the 66th Texaco Children's Art Competition.  This year there were ovber 25,000 entries to the competition - therefore we are very proud of Matthew at having been chosen for a commendation.  Well done Matthew!   
  • We have our First Accelerated Reading Word Millionaire for 2020/21!

    Congratulations to all our Accelerated Reading November Award Winners.  A special congratulations to Mae McNamee (Mrs Campbell's Year 6 Class) who has become our first Accelerated Reading Word Millionaire this year.  Well done Mae! 
  • Online digital Admissions for 2021/22

    If your child is starting pre-school or primary school in September 2021, you can apply online between Thursday 7th January 2021 and 12.00 noon on Friday 30th January 2021. Please note that places are not allocated on a first come, first served basis and applications will only be considered after the closing date.
