Many congratulations to our Year 5-7 Olympic athletes who competed so well on Sports Day. They showed great determination, team spirit and skill. The boys and girls had a wonderful day. Many thanks to all the parents and visitors who attended to support the children and to all our staff who made the day so special, in particular Mr O'Brien who organised the whole event.
Well done to all our Olympic athletes in Years 1-4 on their achievements at Sports Day. The children had such a great time and the weather made it all the more special. Many thanks to those parents and visitors who came along to support the children and to Mr Griffin for Music and Mr O'Brien for the great organisation of such a wonderful event for our children.
Our Year 7 pupils had an amazing day at Belfast Activity Centre. They took part in High Ropes, Canoeing, Mountain Biking, Caving, Archery, Team Building and Orienteering. A great day had by all. Many thanks to all the Year 7 team for organising the day.
Our Primary One children were treated to a fabulous picnic with so many new foods to try at their caterpillar picnic. The boys and girls had a wonderful time nibbling at all the tasty pieces of colourful food on the table. A great time had by all and the sun even shone throughout. Many thanks to Mrs McDonnell for arranging this wonderful treat for our Year 1 pupils.
Our pupils were treated to the larger than life Scottish author Stuart Reid who made his impact right from the moment he walked through the car park in his kilt. Stuart, who is the author of a number of Gorgeous George books, presented a lively assembly to the children followed by a number of exciting writing workshops in Year 5. A great time had by all.
Many thanks to all the Family members from Mr McGrattan's Year 4 class who came along to the canteen to celebrate a meal together before the children's First Holy Communion. Many thanks to Mrs Weldon and her team for the beautiful food.
Our assembly hall was transformed into a building site as our Year 7 children got to grips with the huge suspension bridge they had to create. A fantastic problem solving experience provided by Lagan Construction. Many thanks to all involved.
Mrs Loughran's Year 4 class had a wonderful time when they invited their parents or grandparents to come dine with them before their First Holy Communion. Many thanks to all who came along and to Mrs Weldon and her team for the beautiful food.
