  • Pupil & Eco Council Trip to Stormont

    Our 'Pupil Council’ and ‘Eco-Team’ recently enjoyed a fantastic visit and tour of ‘Stormont Buildings’, Belfast and its outside environment. This was a great opportunity for the children to explore our local parliament and exterior grounds. The children were be able to link their own school experiences of elections, meetings and environmental awareness with that of our local government.

    Many thanks to everyone for wearing their red clothing to school and for contributing to Action Cancer NI and staff training in the use of our defibrillator.
  • Digital Leaders Online Internet Safety Assembly

    Congratulations to our Digital Leaders on their fabulous Online Safety Assembly. A great video presentation, drama and song were used to deliver the message of Safer Internet Day ‘Together for a Better Internet’.

  • 100 Club Draw off to a Flying Start!

  • Year 1 Grandparent's Day

    A big thank you to all our Year 1 Grandparents who came into school on Friday 1st February to hear the beautiful singing and poetry of our children. Thank you to Mrs Weldon and her team for the beautiful scones. Also, a big thank you to the Year 1 teachers and classroom assistants for the beautiful gift the children made for their Grandparents
  • Catholic Schools Week

    This week our school is Celebrating Catholic Schools Week. The children have been completing lessons following themes such as Living Tradition, Welcoming Diversity, In Service of our Community and Supporting Faith. Our Year 7 parents met to discuss the Confirmation process, the Year 4-7 children attended mass led by Mr O'Brien's class on Tuesday and Mrs Campbell's Year 7 class led a special assembly on Wednesday.

  • Year 7 are Learning Sign Language

    All of our Year 7 children have been learning sign language.  Ms Yanachir McCoy from St Joseph's Centre for the Deaf has been coming into school for an hour per week and working with all of the boys and girls in Year 7.  It's amazing just how much they have learned already.  Here's a photograph of some of the children from Mrs Campbell's room with Ms Yanachir, Mrs Campbell and Mr Traynor.  Look - they're signing 'Cheese' as the photo is being taken!
