  • Year 6 Welcome St. Brigid!

    Many thanks to Miss McAuley who returned to St. Joseph's to teach our Year 6 pupils how to make a St. Brigid's cross. The adults got involved too and everyone had a great time. 
  • Mrs Lawlor's Year 3 Assembly

    Many thanks to Mrs Lawlor's class for their wonderful assembly for Catholic Schools Week. The boys and girls spoke out so well, acted a lovely piece from the Gospel about Jesus being lost in the temple and sang their Grow in Love song so well. Thank you to Fr. John who attended our special assembly and led the children in a beautiful prayer for Catholic Schools Week.

    Many thanks to Miss Shivers and her wonderful Year 5 class for their beautiful assembly on Family as part of Catholic Schools Week. The children sang out so well, spoke so clearly and delivered an important message to the school community.
  • Mrs Griffin Retires

    Many congratulations to Mrs Griffin on her Retirement. Miss Shivers' Year 5 class led a beautiful assembly about family and Mr Traynor spoke about how Mrs Griffin was a member of our school family who we will miss dearly.

    After a special break, balloons, cards, cheers and hugs Mrs Griffin left St. Joseph's in style collected by her husband Pete dressed in a tuxedo holding a bunch of roses for her. Every best wish with retirement Mrs Griffin after 28 years service.

  • Year 4 Do This In Memory Mass

    Fr. John complimented all our Year 4 children and their parents on the fantastic turn out at the Do this in Memory Mass on Sunday morning in Mater Dei. A special occasion for our Year 4 children to celebrate a series of Masses with their family before their First Holy Communion in May.
  • Science Galore at CIC

    Our Year 7 pupils were treated to wonderful Science Days at Crumlin Integrated College. The boys and girls had a wonderful time and increased their knowledge on a wide range of scientific experiments. Many thanks to all who helped to organise.
  • INTO 5-a-side Indoor Tournament

    Congratulations to the boys who represented the school at the recent INTO 5-a-side indoor tournament at the Antrim Forum. The boys played so well winning two matches and loosing two. A great day had by all.
