    Our Year 5 children stepped back into Ancient Egypt with the help of a few special visitors and got to experience what life was really like for this amazing civilization!
  • Mr O'Brien's Year 6 Class Anti-Bullying Assembly

    Many thanks to Mr O'Brien's Year 6 class for their wonderful Anti-Bullying assembly. The children performed drama, created PowerPoints, created a movie interviewing our younger children, drew Anti bullying posters, sang and delivered a very important message for us all.
  • Year 6 Business Masterclass

    Our Year 6 children attended a business masterclass during Global Entrepreneurship Week. The boys and girls travelled to Mossley Mill and were welcomed by Mayor John Scott. The children found out about the supply chain and product design and packaging. They took home a project to design a Juice Carton and we look forward to seeing the creativity unleashed

    Happy Hallowe'en everyone. Such a great Hallowe'en dress up and capers day in school. Everyone entered into the spirit so well and heard our Firework Safety message. Great fun had by one and all.

  • Quantum Theatre Visit

    The children had a wonderful visit from the Quantum Theatre who gave a fantastic Maths themed presentation to our children. The event was organised as part of our Maths Week activities by Mrs Mulholland. The children really enjoyed the characters and said they were teaching them about maths in a fun way.
  • Macmillan Coffee Morning

    Many, many thanks to all who supported our Coffee Morning for Macmillan. There were so many beautiful cakes, tray bakes and buns on display. There was a great atmosphere in the hall with so many grandparents, parents, past pupils and friends from the local community who popped in to show their support. A huge £865 was raised for a very worthy cause. If you would still like to make a contribution you can Text  MUG GWE5 to 70550 which will donate £5 straight to Macmillan.

  • BFG Storytelling Company

    Our children had a wonderful treat from the BFG Storytelling company. The boys and girls in Years 3 -7 were entertained by RADA trained Anthony Pedley who brought Roald Dahl's classic to life.
