Mrs Loughran's Year 4 class had a wonderful time when they invited their parents or grandparents to come dine with them before their First Holy Communion. Many thanks to all who came along and to Mrs Weldon and her team for the beautiful food.
Many thanks to everyone who came along and supported our Friend's Fun Night. It was a fantastic occasion with such beautiful weather and wonderful atmosphere! Thank you to all who helped in any way to make this night so special for the families in our school community.
Many congratulations to our very talented pupils who performed at our music recital. The orchestra, traditional group, instrumentalists and choir were just amazing. A wonderful way to spend a sunny May afternoon. Many thanks to all the family and friends who attended and to our music staff for all their support with the children.
Thank you to all the Grandparents who came along to our April All Ages event held by our Digital Leaders. The children were just fantastic and the Grandparents were wonderful students, all so willing to learn. A great night of coding and for children to pass on skills to their Grandparents. Many thanks to all involved.
Congratulations to our Year 7 pupils who were highly commended at the Knex tournament at Mercy College. Mr Traynor was extremely proud of the boys and girls who represented the school so well.
Many congratulations to our Year 6 children on their wonderful Easter assembly. They presented 'The Passion' to the children in Years 3-7 and to parents. Many thanks to the Year 6 staff who guided and supported the children in what was a very reverent occasion for all who attended.
Many congratulations to all the boys and girls who received Subject, Pebble Point, Accelerated Reading, Pupil of the Month and Principal Awards at our Easter awards assembly. You are all superstars!
What a wonderful array of Easter Bonnets as our Nursery children went on parade around the school grounds. Thank you so much to the parents who came along and took time to create the wonderful pieces of art the children wore.
Well done to all who represented the school at the Spartan Dodgeball Tournament. One team made it into the plate semi-final where they missed out on making the finals by one point. They lost to the eventual winners! The other team got into the final of the cup. St. Joseph's came home with silver medals to celebrate their wonderful achievements.
Many thanks to everyone who sponsored our children for the recent Friends' Fun Run. We had a beautiful day and all our boys and girls enjoyed the exercise as they lapped the playground. Many thanks to Shane Murphy who sponsored the juice and biscuits for the children afterwards and the Friends of St. Joseph's who manned the refreshment stalls.
