• Celebrating Confirmation

  Congratulations to our Year 7 pupils who celebrated the sacrament of Confirmation in Mater Dei Church on 3rd March.  We pray that the Holy Spirit will bless and guide them today and in the days and weeks ahead as they continue on their educational journey.

  

• Ash Wednesday

  Today was Ash Wednesday.  It marks the beginning of Lent.  We started the day with a virtual gathering lead by Mr Traynor.  Then Father Colm held separate services in the school hall for pupils in Year Groups 4 - 7.  Pupils had an opportunity to reflect on how best they were going to prepare for Lent and Father Colm then distributed ashes to the pupils and staff.  We welcome this period of Lent to help us best prepare for the season of Easter.

  

• Fun On Pancake Tuesday

  Tasty treats all around on pancake Tuesday - the smell of baking throughout the school was just amazing!

   

  A special delivery was also made to Mr Traynor in his office by the the Primary 1 birthday girl Oonagh - the smile on his face says it all!
