  • Year 4 Crumlin Library Visit

    Wed 14 Jan 2026

Year 4 children visited our local Crumlin Library.  Both classes enjoyed their walk to the library.  We all met Claire the librarian told us all about what Crumlin Library has to offer.  She encouraged us all to become members of the library and told us that every boy and girl could borrow up to nine books at one time to read.

We had a great visit and Claire gave us some forms so that we could join the library and begin to borrow books, use the computers and go to the library clubs. We all really enjoyed our visit. Thank you Claire.

    Tue 13 Jan 2026

Today, Mrs Campbell’s P5 class enjoyed their first digital art session with Colette and Eva from Belfast Exposed. The children learned how to use cameras correctly and explored portrait photography as well as capturing nature. They discovered key techniques for composing great pictures, including centring a subject, using zoom effectively, and ensuring the focus is sharp before clicking.

  • Feast of the Epiphany

    Wed 07 Jan 2026

The Epiphany is a special date when we celebrate how a star led the Magi - also known as the Three kings or the Wise Men - to visit the baby Jesus after he had been born.  On the Feast of the Epiphany members of our Faith Group added the Three Wise Men to our school crib to mark this special occasion.

A prayer for this Special Day:

    Father of light,
Today you reveal to people of faith your Word made flesh.
Your light is strong, your love is sure.
Draw us beyond the limits of this world into your eternal life.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.

    Amen.
