  • Year 4 Enjoy an Inspiring World War II Workshop

    Wed 19 Nov 2025

Our Year 4 pupils had a fantastic visit from Will and Lou from Langford Lodge as part of their World War II topic. Arriving in an authentic army jeep, they brought history to life with a fascinating collection of wartime artefacts, including a military police uniform, medals, cameras, radios, typewriters, and photographs.

The children were thrilled to see these objects up close, gaining a real sense of what life was like during the war. The visit sparked curiosity and inspired further learning, giving pupils plenty to explore as they continue their topic.

A huge thank you to Will and Lou for such an informative and enjoyable experience!

  • World Kindness Day

    Thu 13 Nov 2025

Today, November 13th, we joined millions around the globe in celebrating World Kindness Day—a day dedicated to encouraging kindness towards others, ourselves, and the world around us.

Our Faith Group marked this special occasion by visiting every classroom and presenting each class with a poster titled “Every Day is a Great Day to Show Kindness.” The posters include simple, practical ideas for spreading kindness in our daily lives. Their inspiring message, “Let’s Put the ‘I’ in Kind,” reminds us that each of us has the power to make a difference.

We hope these posters will serve as a lasting reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a big impact—strengthening friendships, building community, and making our school an even happier place to learn and grow
