Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
The Epiphany is a special date when we celebrate how a star led the Magi - also known as the Three kings or the Wise Men - to visit the baby Jesus after he had been born. On the Feast of the Epiphany members of our Faith Group added the Three Wise Men to our school crib to mark this special occasion.
A prayer for this Special Day:
Father of light,
Today you reveal to people of faith your Word made flesh.
Your light is strong, your love is sure.
Draw us beyond the limits of this world into your eternal life.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

St. Joseph’s sparkled with Christmas glamour today as pupils and staff showed off their festive jumpers and accessories, spreading cheer throughout the school! The day began with a very special visitor from the North Pole – Santa himself – followed by our Christmas Ballot draw, a delicious party box lunch from the canteen, the last of our Christmas cards being dispatched, and plenty of class parties. With only six sleeps to go, the festive spirit is alive and well at St Joseph’s!

Santa’s sleigh is getting ready for the big night on Christmas Eve, so today he arrived in style thanks to Winters’ Car Company! He spent time chatting with the boys and girls, and left with a big smile – because every single one of them is on the Nice List!
Our Year 3–7 Christmas Disco was full of festive fun and fabulous moves!
Our talented DJs kept the dance floor buzzing with a mix of modern hits and Christmas classics, while Mrs. Claus and her penguin friends led the fun and ensured everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you to all who helped make this a memorable day of music, laughter, and festive cheer!

Congratulations to our Primary 1 pupils who entertained parents, grandparents, family, and friends with a wonderful performance of ‘A Little Nativity’. There is something magical about the story of Christmas being told through the eyes of a child, and today was no exception. Well done everyone – a truly special performance that reminded us all of the true meaning of Christmas.
Many thanks to the Year 1 team for their hard work in preparing the pupils for their many roles. Our Year 1 Christmas show is very much a team effort, and we are grateful to our entire school community who helped or supported us to ensure another sterling performance!
“The light in a child’s eye is all it takes to make Christmas a magical time of the year.”

The children performed to the whole school on Monday and Tuesday, and to parents, extended family, and friends on Wednesday. On Tuesday evening, St Joseph’s hosted a magical Christmas Movie Evening for our Primary 1 & Primary 2 children. There was great excitement as pupils arrived at school in their pyjamas & Dressing gowns, accompanied by their favourite teddy and blanket. They enjoyed a treat of hot chocolate and delicious cookies before settling down in their classrooms to watch festive movies. It was truly an evening to remember!
A huge thank you to the Friends of St Joseph’s and our staff team for making this special event possible. Your efforts created a wonderful start to the Christmas celebrations for our youngest pupils!
