• P5 Choir Sing at Lakeview

  P5 choir members performed at Lakeview Nursing Home to bring some Christmas cheer to the residents and staff.  They sang beautifully and they were very lucky to have lovely treats as a thank you afterwards.  They are all feeling really Christmassy now!

  Many thanks to the Friends of St. Joseph's for our wonderful Mums and Tots Christmas Party. Lots of festive fun and Santa himself made a special appearance.

  

• Connor Makes the National News

  Well done to Connor from Mrs Mulholland's class who made the National and Local press by meeting a real life astronaut. After all his topic work on space this was a great opportunity for Connor. Mr Traynor congratulated him and read the articles in front of our Christmas tree with him.

  

• Nursery Trail

  A magical Christmas experience for our Nursery children. Many thanks to all who helped in any way with the Trail. Our children had a wonderful time walking though our magical forest to collect the fabulous work they had made for their families, meeting Santa, toasting marshmallows, collecting reindeer food and a party in the minor hall.

• Building Bonds : Badminton

  Many thanks to all the girls and their female role models who took part in our Badminton session in the Leisure Centre. A great night had by all. Many thanks to Mr O'Brien for co-ordinating the event.

  

• Digital Leader Training

  Our Digital Leaders had a wonderful training session with Michael O'Kane from I-Teach. They explored the various roles and responsibilities they would have as digital leaders, book creator, how to airdrop, supporting staff with connecting i-Pads to the whiteboard and using the sphero.

  

• Building Bonds: Dodgeball

  Our Lads had a great Monday evening in the Crumlin Leisure Centre taking part in Dodgeball organised by Daryl Mirza from Spartan Academy. Many thanks to Mr O'Brien for co-ordinating the event and to all the participants who turned up to such a worthwhile occasion for the young boys in our school.
