  • Fairtrade Tuck Shop

    Fri 10 Mar 2017

Our Pupil Council recently hosted their annual Fairtrade tuckshop to celebrate ‘Fairtrade Fortnight.’ The council invited Years 4, 5, 6 and 7 classes to visit their tuckshop and buy a Fairtrade product. Children were very pleased to be able to purchase a small Fairtrade chocolate bar or banana to help support farmers in developing countries. Children received a Fairtrade sticker to thank them for their support. All items were 20p and classes really enjoyed supporting and raising more awareness of the Fairtrade cause. It is important to remember that every time you purchase a product with the Fairtrade symbol you are directly helping farmers in other countries to have a better life! Well done everyone!
