    Congratulations to Mrs Sinclair's Year 4 children on their wonderful assembly about the Good Samaritan. The children spoke out, acted and sang so well and reminded us of the need to look out for each other and to show respect for all those people we meet throughout the day.

    Mrs Sheppard's Primary One children performed a wonderful assembly reminding us about all the changes that happen in Autumn and how we should be thankful to God for the wonderful world we have.

    Many thanks to all who attended our recent Ceili and helped to bid a fond farewell to our Chinese Visitors. It was a wonderful community celebration and gave our parents an opportunity to meet our guests. It was lovely to see the visitors from Victoria College and to welcome the Principal Mrs Patricia Slevin. Many thanks to Raymond Loney and Pat Scullion for the music and to Briege Milner and the Crawford School of Dancing for the wonderful display. A big thank you to all the staff of the school who came along on the night to help, dance and eat some of the beautiful apple tart made by our own Mrs Weldon.

    Mr O'Brien's Year 5 children led a fantastic assembly encouraging our pupils to be brave, show perseverance, be prepared, keep calm and work hard throughout the year ahead. the children sang together and showed us a clip of the first space walk and spoke of how they overcame difficulties to produce a wonderful outcome.

    Thank you so much to our wonderful Year 3 children from Mrs Mulholland's class who performed a fantastic assembly reminding us that October is the month of the Rosary. The children gave each class a rose and said that every time you said the Rosary it was like giving Our Lady a rose.
