• Mrs Sheppard's Year 3 Assembly

  Many thanks to the boys and girls from Mrs Sheppard's Year 3 class who performed a beautiful Advent assembly. Their singing and speaking was just perfect and an advent calendar was delivered to each class to help the children count down and prepare during the Advent season.

  Fr. John visited our school today to bless our Advent Wreath. He spoke to the children about the symbolism surrounding the wreath and that Advent was a time of preparation and waiting.

  Fr. John also presented our Awards as this was a Golden Assembly. Many congratulations to all those children who received certificates, medals or trophies today.

  Many thanks to Mrs McConkey's Year 2 children who performed a lovely assembly all about friendship. The children spoke out and sang so well.

  Two of our Year 7 pupils attended The Diversity Fair at St. Mary's University College in Belfast and spoke of their experience with Shared Education. Both pupils spoke so well and Miss Agnew was so proud of them.

  Many thanks to John from Coco Ice Creams for facilitating our annual ice cream treat for our pupils and in return fundraising for a good cause.

  

• Ulster Orchestra in Concert

  On Thursday 8th November our orchestra members went to see The Ulster Orchestra in concert. The theme was storytelling and the children got to hear music from Star Wars and Harry Potter along with lots of other amazing pieces. A great day was had by all.

  

• Road of Hope Shoebox Appeal

  Congratulations and thank you to everyone who made a shoebox for our recent 'Road of Hope' appeal. In total we collected 285 shoeboxes.  Fiona was just bowled over by your generosity.
