  • Forest School for Miss McKay's Year 5s

    Fri 27 Jan 2017

Miss McKay's Year 5 Class had a fantastic morning in the Forest School led by Brian Poots! They discussed different things such as camouflaging and how to tell how old trees are etc. The children also made animal dens and were creative in thinking of how an animal could access the den but also how to protect the den from larger animals such as foxes. The dens were built for smaller animals such as hedgehogs. They used branches, logs, twigs, leaves and bricks (anything they could find!). Everyone had a wonderful time.
