  • Peace Proms

    Congratulations to all the choir members who represented the school so well at the Peace Proms in the SSE Arena. They were just amazing. Such fantastic singing, dancing and participation. A wonderful experience to sing in a 4,000 strong choir. Many thanks to the parents who attended to support their children and to Mrs McDonnell, Mrs Matthews, Mrs Lawlor, Mrs Sheppard and Mr McMullan who were there to support on the day. A great time had by all.
  • Fitness Freddie Fun Day

    Congratulations to all our boys and girls who took part in our Fitness Day. Many thanks to Mr O'Brien who organised the event and to Take Five who sponsored such a worthwhile activity. The feedback was amazing, the boys and girls just loved the routines Fitness Freddie put them through.
  • Gallant Gaelic Footballers Defeat in County Finals

    Many congratulations to the eight boys who represented St. Joseph's in the All County Finals this week. They were narrowly beaten by St. John the Baptist and lost 7-2 to Bunscoil Phobal Feirste, who went on to win.

    Thank you to everyone who supported Wear it Red Day! Everyone looked so good and a sea of red was seen across classrooms and playgrounds! All the money raised today will got to Action Cancer.
  • iCode Night for Parents

    Thank you to all the parents who came along to our iCode night. The Digital Leader were just fantastic and taught their parents how to code using iPads, Scratch and our Sphero, Ollie and Drone robots.

    Congratulations to our Digital Leaders on their fabulous Online Safety Assembly. A great video presentation, drama, song and art work delivering such an important message to our school community.

     

  • Eco Team Visit St. Comgall's Antrim

    Many thanks to Mr Matthew's from St. Comgall's in Antrim who welcomed our Eco team. The children got to see how to build a green house using plastic bottles. Mr Duffy organised the visit.
  • Grandparents Day

    Congratulations to our Year 1 pupils on their wonderful Grandparent's Day Celebration. The boys and girls entertained all who came along with fantastic songs, entertaining poems and beautiful artwork. Grandparents were awarded with a special medal and had a chance to visit their children in their classroom and look at the work in their books. A great occasion and a wonderful way to celebrate the role of Grandparents during Catholic Schools Week. Many thanks to the year 1 Staff for all the hard work and to Mrs Weldon for the beautiful scones.
  • Year 6 Welcome St. Brigid!

    Many thanks to Miss McAuley who returned to St. Joseph's to teach our Year 6 pupils how to make a St. Brigid's cross. The adults got involved too and everyone had a great time. 
  • Mrs Lawlor's Year 3 Assembly

    Many thanks to Mrs Lawlor's class for their wonderful assembly for Catholic Schools Week. The boys and girls spoke out so well, acted a lovely piece from the Gospel about Jesus being lost in the temple and sang their Grow in Love song so well. Thank you to Fr. John who attended our special assembly and led the children in a beautiful prayer for Catholic Schools Week.
