  • Year 7 Lockdown Leavers 2020

    This week we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 7 lockdown leaving superstars.  The boys and girls have been interacting so well with our online learning through SeeSaw, Google Classroom, MS Teams and Zoom. 

    Our leaving celebratrions included:

    • A Zoom Party
    • Video message from Mr Traynor
    • Messages from past teachers
    • Images of their Year 1 and Year 7 photos - my, how they have grown!
    • Messages for their peers
    • Presentation of their Records of Achievement
    • Awards Presentation
    • Gifts from staff

    • St Joseph's cupcakes
    • A red carpet sendoff

    We will miss these amazing young people who have been such an important part of our school community and wish them every success for the future as they move on to shine brightly in their new schools. 

    Thank you so much to all of the Year 7 parents and guardians who have been so supportive throughout their years in St Joseph's.  On behalf of the Board of Governors and staff, we hope you all have a relaxing summer break and every blessing in the future.

  • Libraries NI - 'Silly Squad' Summer Reading Challenge 2020

    Libraries NI is delighted to announce details of ‘Silly Squad’, Summer Reading Challenge 2020 produced by
    The Reading Agency and delivered by libraries which will take place from Monday 15 June.

    The Silly Squad, Summer Reading Challenge, is a free, exciting way to keep
    young people aged 4 - 11 years reading during the summer months.

    Uniforms can be purchased at both shops - The Sports Company @ Yorkgate OR Chaplain @ Park Centre in Belfast.
