  • May Virtual Golden Assemblies

    Thu 26 May 2022

This week we marked the end of another month in school with our virtual Golden Assemblies.  This month it was the turn of Mr McKenna's Year 3 class to lead our Year 1-3 Assembly and Mrs Sheppard's Year 5 pupils to lead our Year 4-7 Assembly.

Mr McKenna's boys and girls delivered an assembly on the theme of 'Biodiversity' and the assembly from Mrs Downey's boys and girls enabled us all to focus on the theme of 'Growth Mindse't.  All of the children were wonderful representatives for their class and school.

  • Shared Education Community Litter Pick

    Mon 16 May 2022

Today Monday 16 May St Joseph's along with 3 local schools in Crumlin involved in the Shared Education Project met to partake in a community litter pick in an effort to physically reconnect following the constraints of Covid-19.  Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council kindly provided us with all the equipment needed. We were also supported by the locally community, in particular Mark from 'Stylus Engraving' who provided the children with goodie bags as way of a thank you for all their hard work.

It was really good to meet up again and we look forward to more face-to-face gatherings where we can continue to 'Work Together for a Brighter Future'.
