  • BFG Storytelling Company

    Our children had a wonderful treat from the BFG Storytelling company. The boys and girls in Years 3 -7 were entertained by RADA trained Anthony Pedley who brought Roald Dahl's classic to life.

    Many thanks to all our Year 1 children and their parents who came along to the welcome BBQ. The rain disappeared and we had a wonderful sunny evening. Thank you to all the Year 1 staff, Mrs Weldon and the Friends of St. Joseph's who made the event so enjoyable. The children had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed Magic George afterwards.

    Well done to the boys and girls who passed their graded music examinations. The children were awarded with their certificates at assembly and Mr Traynor encouraged them to continue the wonderful progress they have made.

    Congratulations to those boys and girls who received their attendance awards at assembly today. Mr Traynor congratulated the boys and girls on completing a full attendance for the 2016-17 school year. The children were awarded with a special certificate to bring home to show everyone.
  • Delicious Jam from our School Garden

    Many thanks to Ms O'Brien and her class for harvesting the blackcurrants from our school garden and transforming them into beautiful jam. The children had a wonderful time and now know the steps and procedure to follow. A wonderful product from our own school garden.
  • Gaelic Football Coaching

    Many thanks to Alfie who gave our Year 3 & 4 children a healthy start to the year with fundamental skills and gaelic football drills. Alfie will be with us for a series of coaching sessions to help develop these skills with our pupils on Tuesdays.
